Captain Paranoid + the delusions are a diverse dynamic collective of artists, performers and musicians with influences including....Joni Mitchell, James Brown, Johnny Cash,Patti Smith, New York Dolls, Hunter.S.Thompson, Hip-Hop, Punk Rock, Speed Metal, people, some animals, cowboys, indians, bright colours and sharks. Captain Paranoid + the delusions are well known for their chaotic Multi-Media performances incorporating projections, cowboy hats and pyscho-sexual physical theatre.Each live show is different, a pulsating mix of energy, images words and sound, incorporating three vocalists, sax, violin, tribal bass and drums and raw electric guitar. Captain Paranoid + the delusions believe in entertainment challenging perceptions and giving 100% positive energy for every show. They are motivated by fear, confusion, unnatural joy and voices from above. Captain Paranoid + the delusions have worked with acts as diverse as Wayne County + the Electric Chairs, Eddie+the Hot Rods, Freakshow and The Moving Being Theatre Company and are currently working on projects with the Alabama 3.
