Moonloonies evolved from the ashes of Shockhead, a band which made a big impact
on the British and European movement of 1989 - 1992. Their spectacular gigs
gained them prestigous support slots, including Mega-Dogs, Jah Wobble, Hawkwind,
Ozric Tentacles and Eat Static, to name but a few.
Crum.Synths.Vox : Before forming
'Shockhead'and 'Moonloonies' Crum co-wrote the album'AGENTS OF CHAOS' with
Dave Brock (hawkwinds Captain) and has joined Hawkwind on British/European
tour's, also playing synth's on there cd's'In your area' and 'Live'. Intend's
to keep the 'Loony' bus on the road and into the realm's of Chaos.
Dai.Drums.Percussion : Dai'o has been involved
from the start with his solid backbeats and complex sequencing in the live
environment holding the fort for this welsh band forging into the future.
Merion.Guitar.Vox : Merion has been in a number
of bands, but has never found the right sound to to suit his style, until
a twist of fate led him to the Loonies, now he's tuning his guitar into the
Cosmic Vibration and tapping into the Stellar Feedback.
Matt.Bass.Samplers.Vox
: Matt's not just the the solid bassman extrordinaire,
but his exstensive knob twiddling has made his sampling an intergral part
of the Lonnies Cosmos.
